2nd May 2017. Peacefully in his 84th year at his home 174 Milltown Avenue, Derriaghy. Dearly loved husband of Annette, much loved father of Karen and John, father-in-law of Stephen and Alicia and grandfather of Jordyn.

Funeral from his home on Friday at 2.00 pm to Christ Church Derriaghy for Service of Thanksgiving at 2.30 pm afterwards to the adjoining graveyard.

House private.

No flowers please. Donations if desired for Christ Church Spire Restoration Fund, cheques payable to Ronnie Thompson Donations Account, c/o 20 Ballinderry Road, Lisburn BT28 1UF.

Will be loved and remembered always by his sorrowing wife, daughter, son and family.

Peacefully sleeping, resting at last,
his weary trials and troubles past.
In silence he suffered, in patience he bore,
till God called him home to suffer no more.
