BELL, JONATHAN (DR) 25TH JUNE 2016 Suddenly (Former Director of the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum) Late of Maryville Park, Belfast. Beloved son of the late David and Martha Bell; and dear brother of David, Paul and the late Irene.

A celebration of Jonathan’s life will be held in James Brown and Son’s Funeral Home “Rosepark” 719 Upper Newtownards Road Belfast BT4 3NU on Friday at 11.45am, followed by interment in Roselawn cemetery (arrival at 1.00pm)

So sorry to hear of Jonathan’s sudden passing. Sincere sympathy to Jonathan’s family and friends – you are all in our thoughts and prayers, particularly this morning, the day of Jonathan’s funeral.
Sorry we can’t be there – but just want to say from the people of The Rosses, Co Donegal – we truly appreciate the wonderful legacy he left in his recording of the stories of our old people and history of our area.

I am saddened to learn of the sudden passing of Jonathon. He was a lovely kind and caring man. An expert in the history of farming and his contribution to the intellectual standing of The Ulster Folk and Transport Museum was outstanding.
