The family of the late Alan Keenan wish to thank most sincerely all of those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavement.

We would like to thank the staff at Aughnacloy Health Centre. Express our thanks to any staff who cared for Alan on both ward 1 and on ward 9 in the SWAH, Enniskillen. Also thank the staff involved in Alan’s care and treatment at the North West Cancer Centre, including the support of Macmillan nurses. Then a special thank you to the staff on the Palliative Care Ward, Omagh. We really appreciated their wonderful nursing care and support during Alan’s time there.

Thank Linda Davidson and Margaret Stewart for the preparation and serving of the tea at Alan’s wake.

We would like to especially thank Pastor John Birney for taking the service at Martin’s Funeral Parlour, also for his many pastoral visits to Alan and continued support to our family.

A special thank you to Pastor Harry Dowds for conducting Alan’s funeral service at Stonepark Baptist Church. We have really appreciated Pastor Dowds’ pastoral support during Alan’s illness, over the funeral period and across the years.

Express our thanks to Alan’s friend, Pastor George McConnell for giving the nice tribute at the funeral service and his prayer at the graveside.

Another special thanks to the Stonepark ladies who so kindly provided and served the lovely funeral tea, also to anyone from Stonepark church who helped in any way. Our thanks to the organist Stephen Harris. Thank those involved in the recording of the service and the gravedigger.

We would like to thank the elders from both Knockconny and Stonepark Baptist churches who visited Alan during his illness. Give thanks for the prayers and support from both churches, during Alan’s illness. Their continued thoughts and prayers for us as a family have been much appreciated.

We would like to thank Fred Martin and Sons Undertakers for carrying out all of the funeral arrangements in such a professional and dignified manner, also for their support and guidance through this process.

Heartfelt thanks to all of the kind friends who visited Alan, called at the home, came to the wake, sent messages of sympathy, attended the funeral or helped in any other way. To those who gave donations to ‘Macmillan Nurses’ and the ‘Palliative Care Ward, Omagh’.

We also would like to add a little note of thanks to Alan’s close cousin Loretta McClements, who so faithfully visited Alan and has been such a support during this time.
