Artie’s wife Ann and his family, Ryan, Shona and John of 16 Glack Road Ballykelly would like to express our sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. To those who paid their respects, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, phone calls, messages, flowers, food and those who travelled to the wake and funeral - these acts of kindness and support were a great comfort to us at a difficult time.
Thanks to Dr Lisa Thorpe of Bovalley Medical Practice and the District nurses for the excellent care of Artie. Thanks to Dr Karen Harkin and the doctors and nurses at the Foyle Hospice who looked after him throughout his illness.
We extend a special thanks to Mgr McCanny, Fr Christopher McDermott and Fr Noel McDermott for their comforting words and the lovely Requiem Mass. Thank you to Twos Harmony for the beautiful music in the chapel and to Robert People's for the lovely piece on the fiddle.
A special word of thanks to Mairead and Jim of the Drummond Hotel, Ballykelly for the wonderful refreshments after the funeral.
Thanks to Willie and Kieran and the team at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
Artie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 11th June 2022 at 6 pm in St Finlough’s Church, Ballykelly.
