RYAN - Barry

The family of the late Barry Ryan wish to express our appreciation and heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and sympathised with us on our recent and sad bereavement of a much loved husband, daddy, granda, brother, uncle and great friend.

Our sincere thanks to all who attended the wake or funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards or messages, prayed for him, phoned, called at the home, brought food and gifts or helped us in any way.

A special word of gratitude is extended to all our close friends, family and neighbours for your invaluable help, kindness and support in preparing everything before and during the wake from helping organise transport, setting up lights and signs, serving tea and food. We are forever grateful.

A special thank you to the Coalisland District Nurses, the Trust Home Carers, Macmillan and the Marie Curie nurses who tended to him in the weeks and days leading up to his passing. You are angels walking among us and the care, compassion and kindness you shared will not be forgotten.

Our sincere gratitude to Fr McCamley for visiting during his illness, for the many blessings you gave him, for your genuine, kind and comforting words during the Requiem Mass and burial and for always bringing a smile even during difficult and sad times.

Thank you to Maria Campbell and Patrick Slevin for the truly beautiful singing and music which made the funeral Mass so special. To all our family and friends who helped carry the coffin and who participated in the Mass. Thank you all.

Thank you to Patsy Taggart for the professional way in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and for your support in the preparation of the wake and funeral. Thank you to the gravediggers and chapel caretaker.

Thank you to Derrytresk GAC and staff for everything you provided for the wake, for holding the funeral meal and providing great food.

We hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a sincere appreciation of all the kindness we were shown as a family at this sad time.

Barry’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 8th March at 7.30pm in Church of the Sacred Heart, Clonmore.
