The death has occurred of:
Bernard (Barney) Quinn
The family of the late Bernard (Barney) Quinn wish to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported us during Barney's illness and following his passing.
We deeply appreciate the kindness shown by our family circle, friends, and neighbours. To everyone who called with Barney at Fairfields Care Centre, and to his family home prior to his passing, during the wake, attended the funeral, or sent mass cards and messages, your words and support brought us great comfort during this difficult time.
A special thanks to those who brought food, and everyone who helped in any way at the family home during the wake and funeral service. Your generosity and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
An extended heartfelt appreciation to Fr. Tremer for his comforting visits to Barney during his illness. His guidance and support following Barney’s death and for the beautiful and fitting Requiem Mass. Thank you also to the Sacristans and the Eucharistic Ministers. To Roisin and Emmett, thank you for providing such beautiful music and singing at Barney’s Funeral service.
A sincere thank you to Conan and Pat of Lavery’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and compassionate handling of Barney’s funeral arrangements; your support and guidance was invaluable to us. We also would like to extend our thanks to Gerard and Finn for preparing Barney’s final resting place.
A special word of thanks to Camillius and the staff of Kinturk Cultural Centre for providing the refreshments after the funeral.
We are deeply grateful to the doctors and nurses who attended to Barney throughout his illness, and to the staff of Antrim Area Hospital for their care and compassion. A special word of mention goes to the staff of Fairfields Care Centre. We want to express our deepest gratitude for the incredible care and compassion you showed Barney during his illness. Knowing he was in such kind and capable hands brought us immense comfort during his final years.
It would be impossible to thank everyone individually, as the outpouring of support and kindness we have received by those near and far, has been truly overwhelming. Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our sincere appreciation.
