The death has occurred of:
Bernard Sloan
We the family of the late Bernard Sloan who passed away on 18th February, want to thank all his friends, neighbours and extended family for their support, condolences, messages of sympathy, Mass Cards and flowers, all of which have been an incredible help to us, in coping with Bernard's passing. We are very grateful to both parish priests for funeral and months mind masses.
We were especially touched by the many people who attended Bernard's funeral, wake and Month's Mind. We owe gratitude to Linda Gawley for the beautiful singing in the church, and to Danny Doyle for singing Bernard's favourite song at the grave.
Special thanks to all the wonderful people who showed him such kindness and support during his failing health, over recent years. To the Doctors and Nurses (both in the hospitals and local GP surgery) who cared for him compassionately and sympathetically, and to his home Carers who attended him with patience and care, we will be eternally grateful.
Thanks too, to The Kilbroney Inn, Rostrevor for their warm hospitality and refreshments following the funeral.
Special thanks to Nicky and Paul Doran, Funeral Directors who performed their duties in a professional, but very personal way, showing kindness, warmth and respect. As it is impossible to thank everyone involved, we hope this acknowledgement is taken as our sincere appreciation to all.
