Acknowledgement
Bridget Rafferty, Mullaghmore, Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Died 18th January 2025.

We the family of the late Bridget, are deeply grateful to all those who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent sad bereavement.

Bridget was a much respected lady, who worked tirelessly to help her local community over many years, but primarily she was the devoted wife of Sean and the adored mother of Michelle, Tina, Gareth and Kerry. She was the mother in law of Aldrelle, Paul and Ben and a dearly loved grandmother, great grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, messages, flowers or donations in lieu. Thank you to those who joined us at the Service of Thanksgiving or the Committal.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, which has helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon P.P for his spiritual support and for officiating at the burial.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger for preparing Bridget’s final resting place.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals and carers with whom Bridget came into contact, especially the staff of Silverdale Care Home, Castlederg. We are very grateful for all your help, and for the warmth and kindness shown to Bridget.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation.

Bridget is loved and missed every day. May her passionate, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Mary’s Church, Killyclogher on Tuesday 18th February at 10am. Our Lady, pray for her.
