Wife Kate, son Emmett, daughters Roisin, Eilish & Ciara, grandchildren, sister, brother and entire extended family of the late Charlie Conway wish to express our deepest gratitude to those who supported us following the loss of our much loved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother & Uncle.

Thank you to the staff of Coagh Medical Centre who cared for daddy with dignity and compassion, and to John and the staff of Coagh Pharmacy for their help and guidance throughout.

Many thanks to all those who attended daddy’s wake, (many of whom queued in the rain) and funeral mass, to the local businesses and neighbours who supplied food, to those who brought mass & sympathy cards, phone calls and the many messages received especially from his many friends all over Ireland, the UK, Australia and New Zealand. To those who brought flowers and wreaths, your kindness and generosity was very much appreciated.

Thank you to the committee and members of his beloved Ballinderry Shamrocks GAC (especially Martin McKinless who ensured daddy got to the final matches), your assistance with traffic and parking cars along with our neighbours, was very much appreciated. Thanks also for their guard of honour, who along with the pupils of Ballylifford and Derrychrin Primary Schools, his friends and colleagues at the Mid-Ulster Roads Service, Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, Shotts and Dykehead pipeband and along with the whole pipeband community provided an overwhelming guard of honour, daddy would have been so very proud.

A very special word of thanks to Conan & Pat, Laverys Undertakers, who carried out Charlie’s final wishes in such a dignified, professional and caring manner - much appreciated by his family. A very warm thank you to all those that participated in his beautiful requiem mass including Fr Peter Donnelly PP for his comforting words, Emmett and Roisin for the beautiful music and his dear friend Brendan Murphy for the piping. A special word of thanks to Sacristan John Wilson and Gary Harte, gravedigger.
Many thanks to Maureen and the volunteers of Ballinderry Community Hub for the refreshments after the funeral.

We are overwhelmed by the support our family received and as it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation.

Charlie’s Month Mind mass is on Friday 11th April at 7.30pm in St. Patrick’s Church, Ballinderry.
