You will always stay in my memory and heart - only very warm feelings to a true friend, who was the first to know and celebrate with me the news of me being pregnant of twins!
I will never forget you dearest Shane and always will keep this very very positive memory of yours.
With much love, Susanne

Dear Shane's Mom,
I feel the burn in your heart and eyes...:( I am a mother too. I just want to tell you that Shane was my colleague in Jordan's Operation, many times we talked together about our longings; he used to tell me how much he longs and misses you and I was telling him how much I miss and long for my son who is living abroad. Shane also is precious to my heart because he is like my son; in his appreciation for life, being vibrant and positive; for his care for people (not only those who are in most need but also for his colleagues); and for his high level of dedication for refugees.
I did not see Shane in the past two years except when he came back to Jordan for a mission, but I am deeply sad and devastated for what happened - he stays alive with the sweet memories he left behind.
Dear Mom, smile... Shane's smile will shine forever. May God keep you strong my dear and I am sure that he is in a better place.
Warm regards,
Dalal
