You were with us for a lifetime in the Golden Arrow, our faithful employee and friend.
Although closed now, you will always be remembered as the face of the business, the gentle giant behind the pan, always there to greet people as they walked through the door.
You were no more than a teenage boy when you first picked up your first wage from us in 1962 and it would be nearly another six decades before you retired, a time during which we grew up together.
We worked hard, yes, but more importantly we laughed and laughed and laughed.
When you retired in 2021, you walked out the door not as a member of staff but a part of our family.
We will truly miss you. Happy fishing big man.
