Turkington / David M.B.E. (Ex RUC GC). 19th February 2025, peacefully at his home, Clifton Road, Bangor, surrounded by his wife and family. Dearly loved husband of Eileen, devoted father of Andrew, John and Barbara, loving father-in-law of Joanne, Emma and Mark, devoted grandfather and dear brother of the late John, Amy and Florence.

A service of thanksgiving for David’s life will take place in 1st Presbyterian Church Bangor (City Church) on Monday 24th February at 10.30am, followed by a private committal.

House private.

Donations in lieu of flowers if desired may be made for 1st Presbyterian Church Bangor (City Church) Building Fund and Parkinsons UK C/o Ronnie Russell funeral director, 59 Waringstown Road, Lurgan, BT66 7HH (cheques made payable to Ronnie Russell Donations Account please).

David will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the entire family circle.

A day of duty done, a day of rest begun.
