The death has occurred of:
Deirdre BURKE
We, the family of the late Deirdre Burke, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. Sincere thanks to those who paid their respects, sent Mass cards, attended the wake and funeral, sent flowers and those who brought food and made tea throughout the wake. To Cassidy’s for providing refreshments at wake and after the funeral. This was a great comfort to us at a very sad time.
We extend a special thanks to the doctors and district nurses of Eglinton medical practice and Bradley’s chemist Eglinton. We also want to give a special thank you to her carers who took such good care of her we will always be so grateful.
A special word of thanks to Fr Noel McDermott for calling at our home to visit and who officiated a beautiful service.
Also a word of thanks to Ariana O’Kane for such lovely music.
Finally, thanks to Kieran, Noeleen and all at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation.
Deirdre’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Saint Mary’s Church Tamnaherin on Saturday 22nd February 2025 at 6.30 pm.
