The death has occurred of:
Dympna CULLEN
We, the family of the late Dympna Cullen RIP (Clonee, Ederney), wish to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised and supported us during our recent bereavement. T
Thanks to all who attended the wake and funeral, those who sent Mass and sympathy cards, messages on social media, flowers and donations in lieu to Marie Curie.
We also express our sincere gratitude to relatives, neighbours, friends, and local businesses who brought food and all who helped in the kitchen during the wake and those who helped with traffic management.
Our sincere thanks to Father Frank McManus for his spiritual support to Mum especially during her final illness and for the beautiful requiem mass. Thanks also to Eileen the Sacristan, Eleanor Farry, Aoife Tierney and Eamon Donnelly for the beautiful music and singing, the Eucharistic Ministers and all who made Mum’s mass so meaningful.
Our heartfelt thanks to Claude McKervey Funeral Director, assisted by James Maguire, for the dignified and professional way the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the grave diggers for preparing Mum’s final resting place.
We thank all who cared for Mum, Dr King and the staff of Ederney surgery, District Nursing Team, Eugene McGrade Pharmacist, Rapid Response Team and Marie Curie Nurses who were such a help during Mum’s final illness.
Thanks to Ederney St Joseph’s GAA club for the use of their facilities and to Joe Mahon and staff for the refreshments after the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our deep gratitude and appreciation to everyone who helped and supported us in any way.
Mum’s Month Memory Mass will be celebrated in St Joseph’s Church Ederney on Friday 28th February at 7.30pm.
Mum is loved and sorely missed. May her gentle, kind, generous soul rest in eternal peace.
