Lappin – Eileen

The family of the late Eileen Lappin would like to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us on our recent sad bereavement.

Thank you to our extended families, friends, neighbours and all who called at the house, sent cards and messages of condolence, brought gifts of food, helped in any way during the wake and attended the funeral. Thank you also to Cordelia’s Armagh and Fred Bishop, Eurospar Carrickmacross, for the food generously provided. Your kindness and support were very much appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who cared for Eileen, especially the doctors, nurses and staff of Tynan Surgery and all the superb carers who attended Eileen. Thank you also to McKeever’s Chemist, Thomas St, Armagh and Tynan Pharmacy for the professional service they provided.

Sincere gratitude to Fr. Sean Moore for the pastoral care and support he provided for Eileen over the last few years, and for the celebration of the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thank you to all who participated in the Mass, including the sacristan Martin McCann, and Aisleen Morgan and Niall Hughes for the beautiful music and song.

Thank you to the staff, pupils and parents of St. John’s Primary School, Middletown, for their respectful and dignified guard of honour.

Thank you also to Martin McArdle, Patrick McKernan and Eamon Hughes, of E.C Hughes Funeral Undertakers Middletown, for the professional and compassionate way they attended to all the funeral arrangements. Thank you to Damien Morgan, the gravedigger, for preparing Eileen’s final resting place.

Sincere appreciation to Martin McArdle and staff at Hughes Bar and Lounge in Middletown for the lovely refreshments after the funeral.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Eileen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St. John’s R.C. Church, Middletown, Co. Armagh on Saturday 5th April at 12 noon.

May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace.
