Eileen Mc Barron, (née Bannon)
Teemore,
Co Fermanagh.
We, James, Stephen and Roisin, Brendan, Julie-Anne and grandchildren Joseph, Matthew and Patrick would like to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who supported and sympathised with us during Eileen’s short illness and death from the cruel illness of Pulmonary Fibrosis. We extend our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who met Eileen in her caring capacity who related so many personal stories and sent personal letters, flowers, sympathy cards, mass cards and left tributes online. From her time as a maternity nurse in Cavan to care for the elderly in many parts of Fermanagh, how Eileen was held in loving affection and high esteem by everyone who met her, is a great source of strength to us all in this time of overwhelming grief. A special thank you to all Eileen’s friends in her care at the beloved Teemore day care centre who kept her in their thoughts and prayers during her illness and at this time of sadness.
We would also like to thank the dedicated staff of the South West Acute hospital, the Ambulance Service and Emergency staff for providing exceptional quality care and unwavering kindness. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Helen Wilson for her invaluable emergency support during Eileen’s challenging time.
Also to Eileen’s sisters Mary and Nuala who spend long supporting and caring hours with Eileen during her final weeks. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Western Health and social care Trust, the community carers, Lisnaskea Health Centre, The GPs, Derrylin Pharmacy, and the district nursers for their unwavering support and attention to detail in providing the best possible care for Eileen. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to Fr. Gerald Alwill and Fr. Kevin Reynolds for conducting a beautiful ceremony on Tuesday 4th March and Tomás for his heartfelt reflection. We thank Teemore Shamrocks and Lakeland Community Care for providing the guard of honour on the morning of the funeral. We would also like to thank those who travelled long distances to attend Eileen’s Wake and Funeral and also those who contributed to the funeral service, prepared the church and Karen McElroy for the comforting music during the ceremony. We send a huge thank you to Eileen’s former colleagues at Cavan General hospital and Lakeland Community Care for their help and support. We would like to thank everyone who helped in any way during Eileen’s wake, particularly those who provided refreshments, meals and managed the traffic. A special thank you to Swift and McCaffrey Funeral Directors for providing the most professional service for Eileen’s wake, funeral and Eileen’s final resting place. A special thank you to Irene’s Flowers, Lisnaskea for the beautiful flower arrangements. It would be impossible to thank each and every one of you individually, so please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt qratitude.
Eileen’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held in St, Mary’s Church, Teemore at 7 p.m.
