Francie passed away peacefully on the 14th March. He was a widely respected and dearly loved family man, sorely missed and loved by Annita, Austin (Louise), Nadine, Philip and Callum, his brother Ronnie, sisters Audrey and Jennifer, sister in law Lily and brothers in law Michael and Derek, nephews, nieces and his wider family and friends.
We, his family wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way including those who called to the wake in Grianan House Funeral Home, telephoned, sent sympathy cards, or donations in lieu of flowers, and to those who left messages via social media. A heartfelt thank you as well to those who joined us at the funeral service.
Sincere thanks to all our relatives, friends and neighbours who have helped us in so many ways, to support us in our grief as a family.
A special word of thanks to Reverend Tanya Woods for her support and for a very moving funeral service which really captured the essence of Francie.
A special thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors, for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tribute. Our thanks also to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
We would also like to thank all the medical professionals with whom Francie came into contact, especially Dr Brady and all the staff on ward 50 for their kindness and outstanding care during Francie’s illness. y’s deepest gratitude and appreciation.
Francie is ever loved and greatly missed every day. To know him, was to love him.
