Month’s Mind Mass – Acknowledgement

Frank’s wife, Joy, his children and their partners, Chris and Audrey, Alan and Lydia, and Marie-Clare and Daniel, and his grandchildren, Callum, Saul, Naomhán, and Poppy-Fflur, would like to express sincere thanks to all who sent their condolences, called at the house, and sent flowers, cards, and messages of prayer and support.

We extend our deepest gratitude to our amazing family circle: Marie, Martin, and the McKeown family; Michelle, Kieran, and the Doherty family; Sharon, Chris, and the Flanagan family; Tina, and the Curran Family; Doreen, and the Maguire family; John, and the McClintock family; Betty, Steve, and the Adams family; and Donal, Peggy, and the O’Callaghan family; as well as the wider Maguire family, whose support and love we can always count on.

We would also like to thank our dear and kind friends Carmel and Don Moore, Alec and Betty Bradley, Sister Perpetua McNulty, Sister Margaret Tracy and Father Michael McCaughey, June and Patricia, and all our friends in Muff and Pennyburn.

A special word of thanks to our French family, especially Catherine and Stéphanie, who travelled from Mayenne, France to be with us.

To all who played a central role in Frank’s life and care — we extend our deepest appreciation.

To the medical teams at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh; Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry; Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast; and Oakleaf Medical Practice, Derry — thank you. To the doctors, nurses, and staff, especially Dymphna and Fiona, and to Dr Nicola Duffy, your dedication meant so much.

A special word of thanks goes to Dr Eamon Doohan, Frank’s friend and primary carer for many years, for the professionalism and compassion with which you supported him.

To Schola and friends, thank you for the beautiful sacred music that brought peace and solemnity to the mass. To Geraldine, your spring flowers were just perfect — thank you.

To Father Micheál McGavigan, our sincere thanks for your dignity, your gentleness, and for the deeply moving homily at the requiem mass.

And to everyone at W. J. O’Brien & Sons, especially Kieran, we are profoundly grateful for the guidance, courtesy, and respect you showed during such a difficult time.

May the sweet soul of my loving husband, Frank, rest in peace in the loving arms of Jesus.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for him; St Joseph pray for him.

Frank’s Month’s Mind mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 30th April at 7pm in St Patrick’s, Pennyburn.
