The death has occurred of:
George DOUGHERTY
26th November 2024 peacefully at Longfield Care Home, formerly of Abbey House, beloved husband of the late Winnie, partner of the late Anne, loving father of Joe, Marie, Donna and the late Georgie and Winifred, father-in-law of Seamus, Martina and the late Gerry Magee, devoted grandfather of Keri, Louise, Lauren, Kealan, Claire, Matthew, Aimee, Kevin and Paul, a cherished great-grandfather and dear brother of David, Noel and the late Billy.
His remains will be reposing in his daughter’s home, 33 Cooleen Park, Culmore, from 5 pm on Wednesday. Funeral from there on Friday at 12.25 pm for 1 o’clock Requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Muff. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am.
