Gerry‘s wife Amelia, his sons, daughters, brother, grandchildren and great grandchildren wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all our relatives, friends and neighbors who supported us during our recent sad bereavement. For all those who sympathised with us by phone, sent messages of support, mass and sympathy cards, called at the family home or attended the funeral Mass, we greatly appreciated your support . Thanks to friends and neighbours for their thoughtful gestures of food to the home which was very much appreciated.Special thanks to Cordelia’s Chip Shop and Moya McLeod. To Fr Mc Anenly and Fr Emmanuel we thank you for your pastoral care at this sad time. A special word of thanks to Fr Barry Matthews for saying the requiem Mass and to all those who participated in the service to provide a truly fitting farewell for Gerry. To Roger the Sacristan, Catherine and Dermot for the beautiful music and the students from Saint Catherine‘s College for the guard of honour. To all the health professionals involved in Gerry’s care, Abbey Court Surgery, Ann’s Home Care and Collegeland Private Nursing Home, we thank you for your care, compassion and support at all times. To Martin Kelly, Funeral Directors, for the professional and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were conducted and to the grave diggers for their attention to detail.
