We the family of the late Helena Tomney wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with us on the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
To all who called at the wake, attended the funeral, bought mass cards, sent flowers, sent messages and posted on social media, we are so grateful, and found great comfort in the outpouring support and sympathy. To all our neighbours and friends, for your support throughout the wake we are very grateful. To all who helped at the wake and brought food we are very thankful.
To all the girls at Ann’s home care, Dr Mitchell, Dr McKenna and staff of Lineside Health Centre, the Acute Care Team and all the staff of Ashbrook Care Home, we thank you all for the great care you gave Mum. We will be forever grateful to each and every one of you.
We wish to thank Canon Fee for attending to Mum, to Fr O’Neill and Fr Slater attending the wake, to Canon Fee and Fr McCallion for the beautiful Requiem Mass and kind words. To Roisin and Micky for the beautiful singing enhancing the mass, thank you.
To Clonoe O’Rahillys for the use of their equipment and the use of their premises after the funeral, to The Mill Court Restaurant for providing and serving refreshments after the funeral, we are very grateful.
To Patsy and Edel of Patsy Taggart Funeral Services. Thank you for the professional and dignified manner in which you carried out Mum’s funeral, your compassion and support to us all was invaluable and made an extremely difficult process as seamless as possible. To the sacristan who prepared the chapel, to Gary Harte who prepared Mum’s final resting place, we express our sincerest gratitude.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Mum’s month’s mind will be celebrated on Thursday 6th February at 7.30pm in St Patrick’s Church, Clonoe.
