Glasgow – Jack Robert, 20th November 2024

Norman and Diane would like to thank all those who sympathised with them following the death of their precious son Jack. We deeply appreciate and value the kindness and generosity of our Family, Friends, Neighbours and Church Family. To those who sent cards and messages of support, attended the Thanksgiving Service, called at the home, or helped in any practical way, we have been truly overwhelmed by your love.

Our sincere thanks to Richard Alhadeff for his pastoral care and support to us as a family throughout Jack’s journey, and for conducting the special Thanksgiving Service at Dungannon Baptist Church.

We also wish to thank the Elders, Deacons and Volunteers who came to prepare the church building. It was lovely to have Jack's favourite items displayed so beautifully along with the arrangement of flowers. Jack always loved the music when attending church. Our special thanks to the musicians and singers for playing the heavenly music and leading the praise. Also to those who helped with stewarding or took part in any way during the service, we convey our heartfelt thanks.

We would like to thank Mr David Cranston, Mr Leslie Holmes and all the staff at Holmes of Dungannon Funeral Directors for their care and professionalism in carrying out the funeral arrangements in a dignified manner. Also, to convey our thanks to Mr Ronan Hughes, Cemeteries Officer at Mid Ulster District Council, and his team for assisting with the burial arrangements.

Our grateful thanks to Mrs Vera Kimmons and her team for providing the delicious food and refreshments after the service.

We send our thanks to all those who cared for Jack, including staff from Blossom Children's Ward CAH, Royal Belfast Hospital for sick children, and staff within the community. For the many charities that have supported us, it has been an honour to have you as part of Jack's life.

We would like to thank everyone who prayed faithfully for Jack throughout his cancer journey and those who continue to pray for us as a family.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Norman and Diane Glasgow
