We, the family of the late Jackie Robinson, 15 Ashfield Road, Greysteel, wish to express our deep gratitude and sincere appreciation to everyone who has sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
Thank you to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent Mass and sympathy cards and sent donations to the Renal Unit in Altnagelvin Hospital in lieu of flowers. Thanks also to friends and neighbours for supporting us during the wake.
Sincere thanks to the staff of the Renal Unit, Altnagelvin Area Hospital, the doctors and nurses in the Foyle Hospice for looking after Jackie before his death.
A special thanks to Fr McDermott for conducting the funeral Mass.
Sincere thanks to the staff at W. J. O’Brien and Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton for their guidance, care and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements. Also thanks to Michelle Conaghan for her beautiful singing during the funeral Mass, and to Curran’s Bakery for providing refreshments after the funeral.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of the family's deep appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for the intentions of all.
Jackie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in Star of the Sea Church, Faughanvale on Friday 2nd June 2023 at 7.30 pm. The mass can be viewed online via the church webcam.
