Month’s Mind Acknowledgement for the late James McClean who passed away 22nd March 2025.
Shannon, Seamus, Lil and the entire McClean family wish to thank most sincerely all those who helped in so many different ways during James’ days in ICU and during his wake and funeral.
Thanks to the Very Rev Canon D McKinley for the beautiful Funeral Mass and visit to our home during this difficult time. Thanks also to Rev Mark Lenaghan, Canon Frank Kearney, Fr Robert Sloan and Fr Charlie Byrne for their prayers during the wake.
Thanks to all the paramedics from Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance for their prompt and excellent care for James and the PSNI for their assistance.
Thanks to all those in the ICU department in the Royal Victoria Hospital including the doctors, nurses, Chaplain and other staff who attended to James during his final days.
They would also like to thank all those who sympathised with them during this sad and sudden loss including those who travelled from abroad to attend the wake and funeral.
Thanks to Peter Doran Funeral Directors for their professionalism and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
Thanks also to Christina Hughes, Eileen Mooney and Paul Kelly for the beautiful singing and music during the service.
A heartfelt thanks to all those who took part in the guard of honour for the funeral. A special thanks to Kilcoo GAC and Kilcoo Regeneration Group for all their help and support during this time.

James’ Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Easter Sunday 20th April 2025 at 10am in St Malachy’s Chapel, Kilcoo. May James' soul Rest in Peace.
