Jim Mullen
We, the family of the late Jim Mullen, are deeply moved by the outpouring of support and sympathy shown by friends, neighbours, and the wider community during this difficult time. Words cannot adequately express our gratitude for the kindest shown to us as we mourn the untimely loss of Jim, a beloved husband, daddy, granda, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, and uncle.
We extend our sincere thanks to our neighbours and first responders, to the NIAS, NIFRS
and the PSNI for their swift and compassionate actions and empathetic approach.
We are profoundly grateful to all who attended the wake and Requiem Mass especially those who travelled a distance. We want to thank those who sent mass cards, sympathy cards, messaged or phoned to offer condolences. Thank you to those who helped during the wake in any way, we are incredibly touched by the kindest and generosity shown by all.

Fr Eugene Hasson, Fr Peter O Kane and Fr Michael Doherty, your presence at the wake brought great comfort.
Our heartfelt thanks to Fr Michael McCaughey, for his unwavering support and attention during the wake, your presence and comforting words provided us with immense solace during this difficult time. We are especially thankful to you for celebrating the Funeral Mass with such compassion and reverence. Your spiritual guidance and heartfelt prayers brought us a sense of peace. Thank you to Fr Declan Boland, who con-celebrated the Funeral Mass, you were a source of strength and comfort to us all. Thank you to Ruth Corey and Noel McGinley for providing the beautiful music, it touched all who were present. We thank those who read, the gift bearers, Eucharistic Ministers and to Billy the Sacristan.
Special thanks to Jude Maguire and staff of Quigley Funeral Directors for their professionalism and sensitive care in managing all arrangements. Heartfelt thanks to the NIFRS, who provided the guard of honour at the mass, your tribute to Jim as a firefighter was incredibly moving and deeply appreciated. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to the staff, both past and present, and pupils of Loreto Grammar School, Omagh, for also providing a guard of honour. We are profoundly thankful for your respect and kindness. To Con Tinney, the gravedigger, thank you for preparing Jim’s final resting place with great care. Sincere thanks to Mary, Sinead, and Team for the provision of refreshments in St Patricks Hall following the burial. We are also grateful for those who donated to the NIAS in lieu of flowers.As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our immense and sincere gratitude.
Jim’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 15th February at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Strabane. Sacred Heart of Jesus have Mercy on his Soul.
