Jimmy McCusker (Ballymoney & formerly Kilrea)

Anne, Andrew, Brendan and the entire family circle of the late Jimmy wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with them in the sudden death of Jimmy.

The doctors, nurses and staff in Causeway Hospital A & E and Surgical 2 who made Jimmy comfortable, showed him such respect and unstinting care and supported the family with kindness and consideration.

Very Rev. Father Damian McCaughan PP for his spiritual support and attention at hospital and at home and for the beautiful Requiem Mass and homily.

Thanks to Carmel Mc Caughern, Aimee Doherty and Alan Wade for the very meaningful music which enhanced the Mass, Noel the church sacristan , Aiden Reid who prepared the grave and Gary O’Kane for providing the marquee at the family home.

Sincere thanks to all the family members and friends who gave so generously of their time to help at the wake, to the good neighbours in Cambourne for their quiet tolerance of the traffic disruption, to all the kind and generous people who prepared and provided food, to those who messaged, sent cards and letters, who made donations and those who attended the wake and funeral, some from a very long distance, in spite of the inclement weather.

Thanks to Jane and staff at The Brown Trout who provided welcome refreshments after the funeral.

Words are inadequate to express our deepest thanks and appreciation to Mc Kiernan and Sons, Funeral Directors, Kilrea. Their quiet professionalism, attention to detail, their total dedication to the family and the caring dignity with which they conducted the funeral ensured peace of mind for us at such a trying time.

The family has been overwhelmed by the love and kindness shown to them during this time and are deeply grateful for that support. It would be impossible to thank everyone individually so we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.

The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all.

The Month’s Mind Mass for Jimmy will be celebrated in the Church of Our Lady and St Patrick, Ballymoney on Friday 28th October at 7pm.
