We the family of the Late John I McKervey (RIP) would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who sympathised with us on the sad loss of John, A loving Husband and Father.
Thank you to the large crowds that attended his wake, brought mass and sympathy cards and for those who brought food items to wake. Thankyou to all who helped in Kitchen with the tea preparations.
We would sincerely like to thank Fr Frank McManus (PP) for the beautiful Funeral Mass, and in particular his very fitting homily. Also, for his spiritual guidance to John throughout his illness. Thank you to all readers at Johns Funeral Mass. We would like to also thank Gerard Gallagher for bringing John the Blessed Sacrament each Sunday.
Thank you to the Palliative Care team who looked after John with such dignity up until his death.
Thanks also to the Nurses who called to johns’ home while he was ill. Their care and kindness was second to none.
To the Care Teams, your kindness, dignity and support throughout John’s illness will never be forgotten, we could have not coped without this group of incredible people – Thankyou.
To Claude McKervey (Funeral Director), and Patsy for their Professional, respectful and dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out. Again, to Claude a personal word of thanks for your help to us on day of Funeral, it will never be forgotten.
Thankyou to grave diggers and pallbearers.
A special word of thanks to Eleanor and Vincie for providing the beautiful music and singing at Chapel.
We would also like to thank Eugene McGrade (Chemist) and staff at Ederney Pharmacy for their support shown to John and Family during his illness, also to Ederney Surgery, The Doctors/Nurses and surgery staff.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Johns Months mind mass will be held on Sunday 23rd June @11am in St Joseph’s Church Ederney.
