John (Jackie) ROBERTSON
We, the family of the late Jackie Robertson, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who offered their condolences and prayers during our recent sad bereavement. We are blessed to have had the love and support of so many family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues throughout this difficult time.
Jackie was a devoted husband of Winifred and adored father of Chontelle, Wayne and Gary, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend to many.
Sincere thanks to everyone who called at the family home, brought food, sent sympathy cards, text messages or responded through social media, your care and compassion was so much appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who attended the funeral home, funeral service or sent donations in lieu of Dementia NI, we are eternally grateful. Thanks also to 4th Portadown (St Mark's) Scouts for the fitting guard of honour and to Karen Brown for the refreshments following the funeral service.
A special word of thanks to the staff of Rosemount Care Home for the loving care and unending kindness shown to Jackie during his time with them and to all the staff of 3 North, Craigavon Area Hospital for the unfailing attention and care shown to Jackie during his final days and for the respect shown to us as a family.
We would also like to thank Canon Paul Whittaker for his pastoral support and for conducting the service and Canon Malcolm Kingston for being there when we needed him.
