Acknowledgment from the family of John Joe Devlin R.I.P.

The family of the late John Joe Devlin, Kinturk, wish to express their sincere thanks and gratitude to everyone who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Special thanks to all our neighbours, friends and family who came to the wake and funeral, sent mass and sympathy cards, flowers, wreaths, calls, texts and social media messages. We are forever grateful and took comfort from your very kind words and support.

Thank you to all who offered help at the farm and provided refreshments or sent food to the house following John Joe’s passing, your generosity was overwhelming. A special word of thanks to the staff of Coagh Medical Centre, Coagh Pharmacy, District Nurses and Carers who cared for John Joe with great compassion during his illness.

To Fr Tremer we offer our heartfelt appreciation for your pastoral support and for the lovely reverent Requiem Mass offered with such respect. Thanks to Roisin & Emmett for the beautiful music and to the grave diggers. We wish to express our sincere gratitude to Conan and Pat of Lavery’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and dignified handling of the funeral arrangements and for guiding us throughout the wake and funeral.

As it is impossible to thank you all personally, we trust you will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.

The Months Memory Mass for John Joe will take place on Monday 7th April in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Moortown at 7.30pm and can be viewed via webcam (link below).
