MAGUIRE
John
Carryduff/Aghadrumsee
7 August 2023
John’s wife, Pauline and the extended Maguire family wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who supported them in their recent bereavement. Special thanks to the PSNI and paramedics who attended and provided assistance. Thanks to all those who attended John’s wakes at his home in Carryduff and at the Maguire family home and his funeral in Aghadrumsee, those who sent Mass cards, messages of sympathy and all who helped out with logistical arrangements throughout the days prior to and, on the day of, the funeral. A special word of thanks to the undertaker, Paul Mohan, who conducted the funeral arrangements and provided help and guidance to the family in the days leading up to the funeral and also to the gravediggers. Thanks to Fr John Chester, who celebrated John’s funeral Mass with warmth and sensitivity, to those who participated in the Liturgy, to Catherine Grimley Hughes and Dermot McCusker, who provided the beautiful music and to Niall, John’s lifelong friend, who delivered a moving and fitting tribute to John. Thanks also to Jim O’Neill, Dernawilt, for his generosity on the morning of the funeral and the staff at the Creighton Hotel, Clones, who provided refreshments afterwards. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude to all.
John’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St McCartan’s Church, Aghadrumsee, on Sunday 24 September at 9.30am.
