John Sands
The family of the late John Sands, who died on 31st May, 2024 wish to sincerely thank all who sympathised with us on our recent bereavement. To our extended family, friends and neighbours, who attended the wake and funeral, we appreciate your care and compassion. Thanks also to all who sent Mass and sympathy cards and donated to Southern Area Hospice.
We are very grateful to The Rev Fr Michael Woods for celebrating the Funeral Mass and burial, his Prayers and kind words of comfort, and Fr Charlie Burns for his attendance and prayers. Thanks also to Emma Donnelly for the beautiful funeral music.
A special thank-you to the Armagh Enable Care Team, for their kindness, help and support for John over the last few years, to the doctors and staff at Markethill Health Centre and to McKeevers Chemists, Dobbin St. Armagh, for delivering his medications. Also thanks to the Paramedics who attended and the PSNI for their assistance at the funeral procession.
We would like to express our gratitude to the many friends, neighbours and family who helped out during the wake, your hard work, generosity and compassion were a blessing for us at this time.
We are also very appreciative of the use of St Joseph’s Parochial Hall in Poyntzpass for the post funeral meal and to Diamonds Restaurant, Warrenpoint for their catering service. Thank you all very much.
Finally thank-you to the team at Heaney Keenan Funeral Directors, we are grateful for their professionalism and support at this difficult time.
John’s Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Sunday 7th July at St Patrick’s Church in Ballyargan at 10.00am.
