The Family of the late Josephine Canning would like to express their sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with them on their recent loss of a much loved mother and sister.
We would like to thank everyone at the Foyle Hospice who treated Josephine like a lady and with dignity until the very end.
Thank you to our extended family and friends and to all who attended the wake, sent cards and helped us in anyway during this sad time.
We would also like to thank Gary Donnelly, Jim Brown, Joe, Roy, Aiden and everyone at the Creggan Community Collective who helped to give Josephine a beautiful send off.
A special thanks to Teresa Harkin her friend who helped us so much with Josephine when in times of need.
To Sean Carr, Carr family funeral directors for their professional and dignified way in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Josephine month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Marys Church, Creggan on Sunday 23rd March 2025 at 12.15pm
