Acknowledgement / Month's Mind Mass
Julian DALY
We, the family of the late Julian Daly, would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to our extended family, friends and everyone who sympathised with us on the recent death of our beloved Father, Father-in-law, Granda, Brother, Brother-in-law and Uncle.
Words cannot express our gratitude to our kind neighbours, family and friends, who generously gave their time and support during the wake. Thanks to all who called to the house, brought food and refreshments, and to those who brought Mass cards, sent messages of condolences, or travelled long distances to be with us – your kind gestures were very much appreciated.
Thank you to everyone who attended the Mass and funeral.
A special word of thanks to Fr Gerard Mongan whose beautiful words and prayer during the requiem Mass touched us deeply. Thanks also to Fr John McDevitt for taking the time to call to the house and pray with us and for his kind words of sympathy.
Thank you to everyone who took part in the funeral Mass in any way and made it as special as it was.
Thank you also to Bradley & McLaughlin Funeral Directors for their guidance, kindness, support and professionalism throughout the wake and funeral. Thanks to the gravediggers.
Many thanks to the doctors and nurses of Ward 26 in Altnagelvin for caring for Julian during the last week of his life.
Thanks to the doctors and nurses from the cancer centre at Altnagelvin, especially to Karen and Helen, his dedicated cancer nurses who were always so attentive and looked after him so well. Thanks to the Macmillan nurses for all their advice and guidance while navigating Julian's sickness.
Finally, our heartfelt thanks to all who supported us in any way.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude.
The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
Julian's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Sunday 30th March in
St. Columba's Church, Long Tower, Derry.
