Kevin Donnelly R.I.P

We the family of the late Kevin Donnelly would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who offered sympathy and support during our recent bereavement. The kindness and condolences given has provided immense comfort during this difficult time.

We are deeply grateful for the numerous expressions of sympathy, including mass cards, phone calls, texts, and online messages. We were particularly touched by the large number of people who attended the wake and funeral, demonstrating the high regard and affection so many held for Daddy. It gives us great comfort knowing that Daddy was so loved and thought of by many.

Special thanks are extended to Fr. Eugene O’Neill for his compassionate and personal guidance during the Requiem Mass and for his support to us the family, which was deeply appreciated.

We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to all the healthcare professionals involved in Daddy's care. In particular, we thank the team at Ann's Home Care for their dedication and compassion, as well as Dr. Herron and the staff at Garvin's Surgery in Coalisland for their kindness and unwavering support. Finally, we acknowledge the remarkable kindness of Daddy's neighbours. We will never forget their compassion towards Daddy.

We all acknowledge the professionalism and care provided by Edel and Patsy of Patsy Taggart Funeral Directors. Their attention to detail and commitment to creating a special and poignant send-off for Daddy was deeply appreciated and we also extend our thanks to the gravediggers for preparing Daddy’s final resting place.

Gratitude is also expressed to Thomas Hamill and Rory Madden for the beautiful music during the Requiem Mass, as well as to all those who participated in the readings and Eucharistic ministry. A special thank you goes to Daddy’s granddaughter Leslie-Anne McNicholl for composing a heartfelt poem that captured the essence of Daddy so beautifully.

We also thank Gervins Coalisland for providing the lovely food and drinks served after the Funeral Mass.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere and heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming support we have received since Daddy's passing. We will cherish the memory of Daddy forever. May his soul rest in peace, and may peace find all those who mourn him.

Daddy's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 24th, at 7:30 pm in St Mary’s and St Joseph’s Church, Brackaville.
