We, the family of the late Louise Quinn (Kilkeel), wish to extend our sincerest thanks to all those who sympathised with us on the recent loss of our beloved wife, mummy, mother-in-law, granny, sister, and auntie. Your kind messages, words, prayers, sympathy cards, and heartfelt condolences have provided much strength and comfort over the past number of weeks.

Thank you to the countless people who attended the wake and funeral, from near and far, to pay respects to Louise, and who shared memories of Louise’s life with us, provided food over the period of the wake and made donations in lieu of flowers. Thanks to Fr Sean Cahill for his fitting homily and celebration of the Funeral Mass. Thank you to Padraig Rooney for the playing of the bagpipes outside the house and chapel on the morning of the funeral. Thank you to Linda Gawley who provided the beautiful music for the mass and Kelly McCabe for the flower arrangements.

To Longstone CLG, we extend our sincere gratitude for providing equipment and chairs for the wake.

We also wish to express our thanks to the District Nurses from Kilkeel Medical Practice, all Staff at Mandeville Unit Craigavon, Acute Care Team and to Daisy Hill Staff on Level 5 for their care and attention to Louise during her time in hospital.

Many thanks to Nicky and Paul Doran for the dignified and professional way the arrangements were carried out.

Louise’s Month’s Mind Mass along with her mother’s Winne Smyth 25th Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 1st December 2024 at 11.00am in St Joseph’s Church, Ballymartin.

Louise is much missed by her husband Francis; daughters Kathy and Emma; sons Sean and Gerard; daughter-in law Jama; son-in-law Sean, grandchildren, Adam, Lauren, Lucy, and Ryan; sister Bernadette; brothers Teddy, Colm, John and the late Oliver; sisters-in-law; nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Our Lady of Lourdes pray for her.
