Acknowledgement
Margaret Spence, Omagh, Co Tyrone.
Died 16th January 2025.

We the family of the late Margaret, are deeply grateful to all those who offered their condolences, prayers and support during our recent sad bereavement.

Margaret was the devoted wife of the late Philip and adored mother of Philip John, Charles and Gordon. Mother in law of Kate and Iona and a dearly loved grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt, cousin and friend.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house, helped or brought food, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or sympathy cards, messages, or flowers. Thank you to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have had the love and support of friends, neighbours and work colleagues, throughout this difficult time, which has helped us in so many ways, to grieve as a family.

A special word of thanks to Father Kevin McElhennon P.P. for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass and to Father Martin Cunningham P.P for officiating at the Committal. We convey our appreciation also to the sacristan and everyone who took part in the liturgy, especially our readers and our singer Louise Coyle who provided beautiful, reverent and uplifting music.
Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravediggers for preparing Margaret’s final resting place. Thank you also to Roisin of Nettles and Petals for the lovely floral tribute.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to all the medical professionals and carers with whom Margaret came into contact. We are very grateful for all your help.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our gratitude and appreciation.

Margaret is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, kind, generous soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Our Lady, pray for her.
