The death has occurred of:
Mary Baxter (née Mc Goldrick)
We, the family of the late Mary Baxter (nee Mc Goldrick) loving and hard working mother to Benny and Terence and cherished mother in law to Fiona and Cleo and precious and loving Nanny to Thomas, Eoin, James, Meghan, Ben, Shauna, Connor and Shea, brother John Mc Goldrick and companion John Tom Doonan, sister in law Mary Ellen Cashin (Roscommon), nieces and nephews take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for the help and support we have received during Nanny’s short illness and her untimely passing on the 21st of October 2023, at 81 Kinawley Road, Keelpark Glebe, Kinawley.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who supported and helped us in so many ways throughout the tough days prior to Nanny’s passing vising Nanny in Hospital, sending cards, phone calls, visiting Nanny when she came home and helping with Nanny in anyway and then throughout the sad days following her passing.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who called at the house, attended the wake and funeral, drove long distances to attend wake and funeral, telephoned, sent messages of sympathy, floral tributes, brought food, and all who helped in the kitchen. We would also like to thank those who helped with parking during the wake and to Gerry McManus for supplying lights.
Thank you to the staff at Cuilcagh Medical Practice, the staff in Ward 9 at South West Acute Hospital, and the staff in Ward 31 at Altnagelvin Area Hospital, where Nanny received high-quality medical care and compassion shown while she was there. Thank you to the District Nurses, Rapid Response and Community Carers who attended to Nanny at home and showed her great respect during her short illness.
Thank you to Martina and Thomas Maguire for the beautiful music and Fr Mc Morrow and Fr Niall Greene who came to our home to pray with Nanny in her final days and for doing the funeral service along with Fr Comiskey and Fr Murphy. Funeral Services were provided by Patrick Blake Group Derrylin, who ensured that Nanny was laid to rest in a dignified, befitting manner and the arrangements were handled professionally and sensitively throughout. A special thank you to all involved, thanks to the gravediggers for the professional way they prepared Nanny’s final resting place.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported us at this extremely difficult time and please remember that we will never forget it. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude at this sad time.
