The death has occurred of:
Mary O’Hare
The daughter and family of the late Mary O’Hare, 19 Shanlieve Court would like to express our wholehearted gratitude for the support and kindness we received following my mother’s peaceful death on the 24th of February 2025.
Sincere thanks for the continued presence and generosity from family, friends and neighbours who attended mum’s wake and funeral: who brought and served food and refreshments during the wake, offered condolences; sent Mass/Sympathy cards.
Thank you to those of you who shared your stories and memories and kind words about Mary, all of which provided and continues to provide a source of comfort.
We would like to acknowledge the exceptional care given by the staff of Rathfriland Manor Nursing Home and for the love given to mum in her final months. They ensured mum was comfortable and pain free and held our hand in the final weeks and days of mum’s life.
Sincere thanks to Fr Byrne for officiating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Our thanks also go to Eileen Mooney and Colleen Walls for their exceptional musical contributions.
We would like to thank Joanne and Seamus Mullan for the excellent catering provided. Your support has been greatly appreciated.
We would also like to thank McGinn’s Funeral Directors for their endless compassion, guidance and professionalism during what has been an extremely difficult time.
Although it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deep appreciation.
Mary’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in Ballymaghery Chapel, Hilltown on Saturday 29th March 2025 at 6pm.
