Acknowledgement – Mary Wilson, formerly of Coyagh, Fintona, Co Tyrone. Died 12th April 2024.

The family of the late Mary Wilson would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through our recent sad bereavement. Mary was a widely respected lady, and dearly loved wife of the late Paddy, mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister, sister in law, aunt and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way. Thank you to those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, flowers or donations in lieu, and to those who left messages online or via social media.

Thank you to those who called to the wake house, helped, brought food and to those who lined the funeral route or who joined us at the funeral Mass.

Sincere thanks to all our relatives, neighbours and friends who helped us in so many ways throughout this difficult time.

A special word of thanks to Father Seán Mulligan CC for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Noleen Neill who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Tommy for preparing Mary’s final resting place. Thank you also to Roisin of Nettles & Petals for the beautiful floral tributes and to McAtee’s Bar & Restaurant for the very welcome refreshments after the funeral.

And finally, we send our grateful thanks to Spring Lawn Nursing Home, who cared so well for Mary and to all the medical professionals with whom she came in to contact.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Mary is loved and missed everyday, may her gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Her Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Lawrence’s Church, Fintona on Saturday 18th May at 10am. Our Lady pray for her.
