Maureen Gallagher (née Burns)

The family of the late Maureen Gallagher wishes to express their sincere and heartfelt appreciation to all those who extended their sympathy and support following their recent loss. We are deeply touched by the generosity of all who visited our home, attended the funeral, sent Mass or sympathy cards, made donations, offered messages of comfort, or provided assistance in any form.

We would like to extend our thanks to Father Brian Fitzpatrick PP and Father Juan Jesús for their spiritual guidance and for officiating the beautiful Requiem Mass. Thank you also to all the children both within and beyond the family who provided a meaningful contribution to the liturgy by participating in readings, the offering of gifts, music and with the forming of a guard of honour.

A special word of thanks goes to all the healthcare professionals involved in our mother's care throughout her period of illness. In particular, we would like to acknowledge the outstanding care and compassion shown to our mum during the final months of her life by the entire team in Castledawson Surgery alongside the District Nursing Team. Your kindness has been of great comfort to us during this difficult time and provides us with much hope and reassurance going forward.

And of course, words cannot express how moved we were by the gentleness and humanity shown by the Marie Curie Team who deserve even more than a medal, as they journeyed alongside our family and most importantly our mum herself as she left this world for the next.

Additionally, we wish to thank Rosaleen and all the friends from the 'Tuesday Club' in Lylo, for their sterling efforts in assisting with the catering after the funeral.  Your support has been deeply appreciated.

We also express our sincere thanks to McAlinden and Murtagh Funeral Director's for their endless compassion, guidance, and professionalism from the very beginning to the end and during what has been an extremely difficult time.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgment will be accepted as a token of our profound gratitude.

Maureen Gallagher's Month’s Mind Mass will take place on Sunday, 13th April at 12.00 noon in St.Anthony's Church, Craigavon.
