The family of the late Maureen McMullan wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. For everyone who attended the wake, brought gifts, sent cards and messages of condolences, and helped in any way, we are truly grateful. We also extend our thanks to those who attended the funeral, in person and online. For those also who travelled long distances to be with us, we sincerely thank you.
We would like to thank the staff of Glenkeen Nursing Home, Brooklands Nursing Home and all carers, nurses and doctors who took care of Mummy during her long illness. Our grateful thanks to Canon John Forsythe who attended Mummy in her last days, providing prayer and comfort.
A special thanks to Monsignor Dolan for celebrating the funeral Mass and making it a fitting tribute, and his support at this difficult time. Our extended thanks to Fr Paddy Doherty for assisting in the funeral mass arrangements and for attending the wake. Thanks to Leona, Catriona and Rosey for the beautiful singing and music during the mass.
Our grateful thanks to the staff at the Wild Duck for providing refreshments after the funeral. We would also like to thank the grave digger for the preparation of Mummy’s final resting place.
