Micheal (The Master) McKenna

The Family of the late Michael McKenna (The Master) Dernasell, Augher, wish to express their heartfelt gratitude for the sympathy, prayers, and support during our time of sorrow.

Mickey was a well-known character who selflessly visited the elderly and sick, making many contributions to our local community. He was a devoted husband to Emily, cherished father to Marie and Sinead, and beloved brother to Patrick, Willie, Dessie, Eugene, Mary, Brendan, Kathleen, and the late Raymond.
We sincerely thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent cards, brought food, or offered assistance. Your support means the world to us. Special thanks to the members of An Eochair Naomh Mhic Artain Football Club for their help with transport to and from the wake and traffic management, and to the GAA Community for the Guard of Honour.
We are grateful to Canon Noel McGahan, Canon Martin Treanor, and Fr. Dermot Prior for celebrating the Sacred Liturgy and providing comforting reflections. Our thanks also go to the Musicians for their beautiful contributions, to Quinn Directors for their professionalism, and to the Gravediggers for preparing Mickey's Final Resting Place with such care. Thanks are also due to the Clara Hall Committee for the use of their facilities for refreshments after the funeral.

A heartfelt thank you to the Staff of the Mandeville Unit at Craigavon Area Hospital, as well as the District Nurses, Carers, and Marie Curie Staff, for their compassionate care during Mickeys illness.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this message as our Family's deepest gratitude.

Mickey is dearly loved and deeply missed every day.
His Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Church, Clara, on Saturday, 28th September at 12:00pm
