We the family of the late Monica Bradley (RIP) who passed away on 25th January would like to express our sincere and heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised and supported us on the loss of our dear wife, mother, nanny, sister and dear friend to many.
Our family has be overwhelmed by the thousands of mass and sympathy cards, the volume of people who called to the wake and attended the funeral and all the kindness that we received at this heartbreaking time.
A sincere thanks to our family, friends and great neighbours who helped out and supported us throughout the wake and funeral, we very much appreciated all you done for us throughout this time. A heartfelt thank you to Bumpers, Wards Rockmount, Diamonds and all the wonderful individuals and families who kindly brought food to the house during and after the wake. Thank you to Paddy and Cillian Burns, and William Bradley for controlling the roads and parking during the wake and to Padraig Cunningham for supplying the lights for the road.
Thank you to all the staff at Daisy Hill Hospital Renal Unit for the care and support they provided over the years and to all the patients for being treasured friends to Monica.
We would also like to thank everyone who has kindly made donations to the Renal Unit during the wake and for those who have since sent donations through. We look forward to presenting this to the Renal Unit in due course.
Thank you to Dr McCreesh, Ann McAteer and the staff from Warrenpoint Health Centre. We would also like to thank Barry, Fiona and the staff from Gordons Chemist, Church Street Warrenpoint.
As a family we would like to express our thanks to the Ambulance Service and the PSNI for all their help, support and assistance on the morning we lost Monica.
Thank you to Monsignor Hugh Connolly, Fr Charlie Byrne, Canon Kearney and Francie McMahon for their dedication and spiritual support to Monica over the years and to us as a family during this difficult time. We are deeply grateful to Monsignor Hugh Connolly and Fr Charlie Byrne for celebrating the requiem mass and for the touching eulogy. We also extend our thanks to Sean Magill the Sacristan and all those who took part in the funeral mass.
Thank you to Mariva Harvey, Eddie McGovern and Margaret Harty for the beautiful music which enriched the funeral mass.
Thank you also to Brendan McKernan and Garbhan McFerran at Burren Social Club and to Hugh and the staff at Diamonds Restaurant Warrenpoint for the refreshments after the funeral.
Our heartfelt thank you to Cathal McAnulty and the staff at McAnulty Funeral Directors Warrenpoint for all the support, professionalism and dignified manner in which they carried out the wake and funeral arrangements.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude.
May Monica’s gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Monica’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 2nd March at 3pm in St Mary’s Burren. All Welcome.
