Moya MURPHY (née Noade)
We the family and extended family of the late Moya Murphy (nee Noade) who passed away peacefully at home on 21st February 2025, wish to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who sympathised with and supported us during our recent bereavement.
A special thanks to all those who called at the house, brought food, sent cards, messages of condolence, attended the funeral near and far, kindly donated to the Marie Curie and N.I. Hospice in Moya's memory, helped and supported us in any way during this difficult time. Your overwhelming compassion and kindness has brought great comfort at this difficult time.
We would sincerely like to thank Consultant Dr. Ong (Hematology) and her team of medical/nursing staff at Ward 6a Ulster Hospital, John Hannawin and staff and Hannawins Pharmacy, Oliver at N.I. Hospice, Dawn and team at Marie Curie, Community Nursing Staff and Lydian Care, all of whom cared for Moya exceptionally well during her period of illness.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to Gerard McMullan Funeral Directors, for their caring, dignified manner and professional support in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.
A special word of thanks to Fr B Brown. Also a special thanks to Finbar Keavney for the beautiful singing during the service. We would also like to thank Daphne Scott and the team for the refreshments provided following the service.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually including extended family, friends, colleagues, neighbours and members of the wider community who sympathised with the family, please accept this acknowledgment of the family's heartfelt thanks of our sincere appreciation for your kindness and support.
Moya's months mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 22nd March at 6pm in St. Patrick's Church, Ballynahinch.
