We the family of the late Muriel Cathers, Drumnakilly House, Omagh, wish to express our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to all who sympathised and supported us following her passing. Muriel was a dearly loved wife (of the late Charlie), mother, sister, auntie, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be sorely missed.

We would like to thank our extended family, friends and neighbours who called, telephoned, sent cards and flowers and posted on social media, attended the funeral and donated to Clogherny Parish Church and Knockmoyle Lodge Nursing Home.

A big thank you to Dorothy Hawkes and Forest View Catering who kindly provided hot food for the family during the difficult days prior to the funeral and everyone who brought food to the wake and helped with the tea.

A word of thanks to the Doctors and staff of Carrickmore Health Centre and Beragh District Nurses for their help in earlier years and Drumragh Health Centre in recent times. Also a special mention to the Management and staff of Knockmoyle Lodge Nursing Home for their unwavering dedication and care for mum.

Grateful thanks to Sarah Cathers for conducting the beautiful service in the family home prior to mum’s final journey.
Thanks also to Canon Johnson and his wife for their wonderfully supportive visits and administering holy communion to mum. Canon Johnson who officiated at the service gave an excellent eulogy of mum’s early life and her love of farming, especially hens and her extraordinary baking and cookery skills and loving support for all her family.
Many thanks to Bob Lyons for recording the funeral for those unable to attend.

A special thanks to Forest View Catering for providing the lovely food for the funeral and the ladies of Clogherny Church and Mothers’ Union who made and served the tea.

Our sincere thanks to J H Anderson and Sons, Funeral Directors, for their support, dedication and professionalism in carrying out the funeral arrangements and to the organist Anne Crawford, Church Wardens Noel O’Brien and Anne Griffin for their kind assistance and to the gravedigger, Ivan Woods, for preparing mum’s final resting place.

We hope this acknowledgement will express our deepest and sincere appreciation to all who supported us and helped in any way.
