Acknowledgement.
Myra Hunter, Dooish Road, Dromore, Co Tyrone. Died 28th August 2024.

We wish to extend our deep gratitude and warmest thanks to everyone who offered their condolences, prayers, and support during our recent sad bereavement. Myra was a widely respected lady, devoted wife of the late Tommy, adored mother of Paul, Tom, Mark and Damian, mother in law of Tina, Michelle, Tracey and Shauna, much loved grandmother and great grandmother, and a very dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.

Thank you to everyone who called to the wake house, helped or brought food, this was greatly appreciated. Our thanks also to those who sent Mass or Sympathy cards, messages, or flowers, lined the funeral route and to those who joined us at the Requiem Mass.

We are blessed to have the love and support of our family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues, your support throughout this difficult time has helped us in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Father Denis Dolan P.E. for his spiritual support and the very comforting Requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially our readers, and our singer Donna Taggart and accompanied pianist who provided the beautiful reverent and uplifting music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner, in which the funeral arrangements were carried out and to the gravedigger Eamon for preparing Myra’s final resting place. Also to Sheenagh of Bumblebee Garden for the beautiful floral tributes, and to the St Patrick’s Hall ladies for providing the most welcome refreshments after the internment.

And finally, we send our sincere thanks and deep appreciation to the health professionals who helped care for Myra, especially Dromore Surgery, Bradley’s Pharmacy, the Lakeland Community Care team, and the nursing and medical staff in The South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Myra is loved and missed every day. May her gentle, generous, kind soul be granted peace and eternal rest. Myra’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Davog’s Church, Dromore on Saturday 28th September 2024 at 7pm.
Our Lady pray for her.
