Norah Thompson

Family Acknowledgment Notice

We the family of the late Norah Thompson, 26 Moneygal Road, Castlederg, wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to all our family and friends for their kindness and support shown during Norah’s illness and in our recent sad bereavement and to all those who helped at the wake.

A special thank you to all the invaluable Carers in helping care for Norah at home with such dedication and kindness we will be forever grateful and to Western Rural Healthcare, the District Sister and District Nurses who attended Norah in her final weeks and months and the Palliative Care Nurses, Rapid Response Nurses and Marie Curie Nurses for their unfailing care and attention. Thank you also to Mrs Mary Donaghy and her staff at Donaghy’s Chemist for all their help and support.

Thank you to everyone who attended the wake, funeral service and graveside, and to those who telephoned, sent cards and messages or stood along the route to pay their respects and also to those who sent donations to Marie Curie.

A very special thank you to Reverend Charles Clements who faithfully called with Norah and for his kind support and prayers throughout. We also thank him for conducting a lovely funeral service. Thanks also to Maggie for reading the poem, the organist and the church members who helped in the church.

Appreciation to Robert Armstrong & Son Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements and also to the grave digger.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our deepest gratitude for your kindness and support.
