The family of the late Pat Markey (Keady) have requested that this acknowledgement is posted in gratitude and appreciation.
Pat's daughter, sons, sister grandchildren and the entire family circle wish to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad bereavement. To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was very much appreciated.
To all those who attended the removal to the chapel and to the funeral we assure you we valued your presence. We thank especially all those who travelled a distance to pay their own respects and to support us as a family.
Thanks to those who give mass and sympathy cards, telephoned, messaged or posted online their condolences we derived great comfort from them.
No words seem adequate to express our sincere thanks to the staff of Copperfield private nursing home Aughnacloy who cared for Dad with compassion and professionalism.
Sincere thanks to the visiting priests and religious who attended to his spiritual health whilst he was resident there. Thanks also to the priests of Keady parish and in particular Fr Aidan McCann who celebrated a very beautiful and uplifting funeral mass with Fr Sean ONeill assisting at the burial.
The mass was greatly enhanced by the beautiful music provided by Catherine and Dermot and to the Sacriston team who prepared the church on both days.
Finally to Bridget and team from Mone Funeral Directors for their gentleness and dignified handling of the funeral arrangements and to Mary B Mone for the post burial refreshments.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation.
Pat's month mind mass will be held in St Patrick's Church Keady on Sunday 14th July at 11:30am
