We the family of the late Paddy Friel wish to express our sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us during our recent bereavement.
To all who sent sympathy cards, messages and those who attended the wake and requiem mass. Your support was greatly appreciated and a comfort to us all.
A special thanks to our wider family circle, neighbours and friends who helped during the wake your time and commitment was invaluable.
We acknowledge the dedication and empathy of health professionals who helped Paddy over the last few years.
In particular the doctors and health visitors at Riverfront Medical.
Thank you to Eimear for providing the physical aids he needed to meet the challenges of daily living in his latter years, we are indebted to you and to the team at Glen Caring who attended to his personal needs with dignity and respect and lifted his spirits daily with their humour and good nature.
Thank you to Stephen and the team at Murphy’s Chemist.
We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Cornfield Care Centre Limavady who cared for
him over the last year. We will be forever grateful for the care and compassion shown to him in his final weeks and also your support and kindness to Celine.
Thanks to Cassidy's Shop for providing the refreshments after the funeral.
A special word of thanks to Fr James McGrory and Monsignor Dolan for the Requiem Mass and to Fr Mc Dermott for his kindness and prayers. Thanks also to Fidelma McNamee for the beautiful singing.
