We, the family of the late Patrick Gallagher, much loved father of Mairead, Berenice, Anne-Marie and Patrick wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us, following our recent sad bereavement.

We would like to acknowledge and thank all the staff of Newtownstewart Medical Centre, Bradley's Pharmacy and the dedicated team of nurses and carers who visited daily and helped make it possible for us to continue Dad's care at home.

We would like to thank all those who attended the wake and funeral and to our friends, neighbours and extended family who brought food and assisted in any way, we are eternally grateful. Sincere thanks to all those who sent letters, Mass or Sympathy cards, offered their condolences by phone, or left messages on social media. A special word of thanks to Naomh Eoghan GAA football club for their assistance with traffic and support throughout the wake and funeral.

Our heartfelt thanks goes to Fr. Colhoun for his visits to our family home and for the beautiful funeral service and to Fr McCawille for concelebrating Mass. We would also like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the musicians and everyone who participated in the funeral Mass.

Thanks also to Charlie Lynch, Funeral Directors, for their caring and professional manner, and the gravediggers who prepared Dad's final resting place. Grateful thanks must also go to members of the Hall Committee for providing refreshments in the hall after the funeral service.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Our Dad was the most caring and gentle person that we have known, he will be for ever loved and missed. May he rest in peace.

Dad’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 19th May, at 11.30 am in Glenock Chapel, Newtownstewart.
